Boogie with the Stars has become a well-known NYE event in Prince George. Season 8 with its “Roaring 20’s” theme was a roaring success! It truly was an epic evening – the amazing Dance Teams all worked so hard, and together they made the “BWTS 2022 Dance Competition” the best yet. We have been doing BWTS since 2010, and as we look back at our very humble beginnings, how could we have ever known where it would take us. Wow! – the colour, the energy, the dedication and effort, the high degree of accomplishment and the fabulous combined result has filled us with pride and appreciation, and definitely renewed our determination to carry it over to the next BWTS in 2024. We would like to extend a very special nod to the videographer, Jeff Gruending (Precisionfx). His highly professional and polished product makes it possible for us all to relive each moment over and over – he truly did capture the colour and the energy in the room. Lastly, we wish to express our warm feelings and admiration toward Donna and PGHPCS, the host Charity, and of course to Jessica Rankin for her dedication in heading up the event. These are outstanding people and it is a privilege to offer support to their hard work and the wonderful things they do for those in need. Overall it was a pleasure and an honour to work with everyone involved and we look forward to crossing paths again, especially at the next BWTS event, NYE 2024!
